Macrophyte ID Booklet

This PDF booklet was developed in 2015 by high school and college interns, working with the Cayuga Lake Floating Classroom.  This guide is specifically designed for use by citizens making casual lake plant observations or for use by groups participating in organized macrophyte monitoring efforts.  This "First Version" guide will be updated and expanded in coming years, based on the feedback of our users. 

PLEASE NOTE: The image labeled as a Turion on the Hydrilla verticillata card is, in fact a turion of Curly-Leaf Pondweed (Potomageton crispus).  This error will be corrected in the upcoming edition.  The Hydrilla verticillata turion is pictured below.
