Early-mid August
If you’re interested in the stars, we hope you can join us for this yearly event. This is one of our most exciting late-night cruises which takes place every year in early-mid August on which you can match countless shooting stars speed across the sky. Narrators will be on board to point out constellations, important stars and planets and share the excitement of the night.
Volunteer Lake Monitoring Cruises, Lake Art, Sturgeon Releases & More!
We offer free weekly citizen/volunteer monitoring cruises during the summer. Along with water and biological sampling, we introduce art projects and sturgeon releases in the fall. Our goal is to offer regular, free opportunities to those willing to make a commitment to learn more about the lake and join a community of lake ambassadors. Youth interns and adult docent positions are also available. Please email us to find out how you can get involved!
